tufte-book footnotes

    Following Charlie's latest blog posting, I've been playing around with the tufte-book class. It's really nice looking, but I wonder; is there a way to get it to typeset \footnote{}s as genuine footnotes, instead of numbered marginal notes?

    Not sure. In my experience using it, the Tufte-latex classes are beautiful but not terribly flexible.

    However, the developers (and frequent users of it) read http://groups.google.com/group/tufte-latex . Might try there.
